LaKeisha Fears-Perez is a Visual Imagery Artist and
Photographer.
The title “Mural Art Producer” is most fitting for this Knoxville native managing the “Love Is the Answer” mural in Knoxville, Tn located at the Change Center on Harriet Tubman street.
She was instrumental in not only submitting five out of twenty-five art pieces depicting each young person painted in their hopes, dreams, talents, or aspirations. The twenty-five young people in the mural all lost their lives under the age of twenty. This mural symbolizes healing, hope faith, and knowing that love is the answer beyond our circumstances.
LaKeisha Fears-Perez as a Mural Art Producer entails being the direct line of contact between the artist, art space, volunteers, and families as well as conveying technical requirements, space considerations, and troubleshooting scenarios leading up to the day of the exhibit reveal.
